Hi,

Thank you again for taking the time in visiting my website.

As i said before, i’m a biologist currently undertaking my PhD studies in Zoology and a photographer from Romania. I was born in Oradea, a city in the north-western part of my country, a region widely known as Transylvania :)

I really like my studies and work, but also love traveling, so the photos i take belong to both worlds. I equally enjoy taking landscapes and animal close-ups and my goal is to visit as many places and see as many animals and natural beauties as i simply can.

Photography has been a very big passion of mine for 3 years now and i try to invest all my free time into learning about it and practicing in the great outdoors. I plan all sorts of trips with it in mind - from 2-3 day backpacking in the Carpathian Mountains to longer travels to various countries around the world - and i try to return with the best images i possibly can.

Equipment:

I began my photography days with compact cameras, but soon after I upgraded to a junior dSLR - Canon 400D, for more control. Now i switched to a Canon 60D and have a rather wide range of Sigma lenses (from 10mm to 300m) in order to capture the subject i pursue. Aside these, i use a Manfrotto tripod, a Canon 430EX external flash unit, cable release and a wide range of filters (polarisers and neutral density) from Hitech and Hoya.
